New work

I've been so busy lately, travelling and then filling up any spare time with commissions that I haven't blogged or updated my website for ages. Soon I will have a list of my street and building paintings. To see the images, you just need to request. There are so many to show now so it is easier to read the list and then ask to see any that you are interested in.

The travelling has been for pleasure but I made sure there was art to see along the way especially in Paris.

I have already started to paint some of the beautiful buildings I saw in Edinburgh, Paris and Liverpool.

Exhibition season is about to commence and so time is taken up with filling in entry forms, preparing work and getting it to the venues.

I've also been restocking tourist places with my greetings cards.

This year I will have work at Eskdale Art Show in St Bega's School, Allonby Artex in the Village Hall in Allonby, Gosforth and District Art Society in Gosforth Village Hall and a Stand at Factory Festival of Creative Arts in Keswick.

I'll be entering The Lakes Artist Society Exhibition in Grasmere again and joining in the Open Studies in Sept at Florence Arts in Egremont.

I have three exhibitions coming up, a joint show in Maryport at The Shipping Brow Gallery, starting next week, a guest artist in Lowes Court Gallery and a solo show in Kirkcudbright in July and August.

All welcome on Tuesday 14th May at 6pm for drinks and nibbles and a chance to meet five female artists from west Cumbria.

Here is a taste of some more new work.

I look forward to meeting some of you at my exhibitions or at my monthly art and craft fair in Cockermouth United Reformed Church.
