Commission a Painting

You might never have thought about commissioning a piece of art but it is a great way to get something very unique and personal.

In the run up to Christmas, I was very busy doing paintings for presents.
Most of these were individual houses, but I have completed public buildings and churches for people as well as terraces and streets.
Wedding and Christening venues are popular. I recently painted a library of one of the Oxford colleges. The man commissioning the painting had asked me to position a figure in a particular window on a laptop. How romantic, as this was where a first date had been arranged!
I have just completed a painting of the church where I was married. This is for someone also married there, and is an anniversary gift.
It felt special to do it as it is our family church where we have been for family christenings, weddings, and funerals.
If you would like me to paint a building for you just get in touch. The small 6"x4" on khadi paper, mounted to 10"×8" is now £50 if you are local £60 if I have to post it out or deliver. These are unique and no prints are made.
The larger paintings on Bockingford paper depend on the size that the painting ends up and currently range from £100 to £400
I use quality acid free papers and Derwent inktense paint pans to colour my pen drawings.
Here are a few of my commissions. I've done hundreds so you are in safe hands.
